About
All Good Signs is the studio of Alina Radetsky, designer and sign painter with a background in painting and decorative finishes, and formal training in graphic design and typography. After working with Noble Signs, I founded All Good Signs in Portland, Oregon in 2017, specializing in hand-painted signs, design, and lettering for over 50 commercial clients, small businesses, and independent commissions.
As of 2026, All Good Signs has moved to the Midwest and is now serving the Detroit metro area.

Approach
Traditional signs gather life and character over time and become part of how a place is recognized and remembered – rooted in place through craft and function.
I work through a collaborative process with clients, blending traditional sign painting with digital design tools to produce work across a range of materials and surfaces for customer-facing spaces. From concept through fabrication and installation, each project is hands-on and detail-driven, focused on thoughtful, lasting curb appeal that supports brand identity and function.
⸻
Services
I offer a range of painting, fabrication and design services, including:
- Hand-painted signage: storefront/window signs, address numbers/transoms, vehicle lettering, a-frames/sandwich boards, interior/exterior wall signs, murals, and restoration work
- Fabrication: custom-shaped signs, menu boards, window displays, panels, and hanging signs
- Brand + graphic design: identity, logos, retail/environmental graphics, way-finding, type design, art direction, print, packaging, digital, naming, film
- Gilding: surface and glass gilding (gold leaf)
⸻
Materials
Wood, glass, metal, aluminum composite panels, acrylic, and other smooth or textured surfaces – chosen to suit the job and where it will live. I use enamel and water-based paints and custom-mix/match colors in collaboration with clients. Clear coats and anti-graffiti finishes are applied as needed.

Pricing
Pricing varies depending on size, materials, color palette, complexity, and whether design services are needed. I take time upfront to understand the project scope and timeline, then follow up with a realistic quote. Once we’re aligned, a 50% deposit confirms the project and kicks off production.
Shop minimum: $350
This covers studio time and baseline material costs. With your project goals and budget in mind, I’m happy to talk through options and determine the best approach.
A-Frames / Sandwich Boards: start at $700
Each a-frame is built from scratch from marine-grade plywood—cut and assembled in-house, edge-treated and primed for long-term durability, then finished with multiple coats of paint and hardware. Graphics can be painted from your provided design or one I create. A-frames are a practical, high-impact way to guide people into your space or event. They can be custom cut to your preferred shape and size, the standard is 24” x 36” ( about a 20” x 30” art area).
⸻
Permits
Some signage requires permits depending on your city, building, or landlord. If permits are needed, the client is responsible for obtaining them, but I’m happy to share specs or info you may need for the application.
